d’Azur Cup

As you have followed, we have completed the d’Azur Optimist Cup Regatta, which we prepared with great excitement and meticulousness.

Together with Çeşme West Sailing Club, with whom we have been shoulder to shoulder throughout the whole process, this race, which we have just organized for the first time, has been a great experience for us.

We have meticulously prepared for both accommodation, food and beverage, optimization and easy use of the race area. We hope that we have given the participants 5 days they will never forget and those who followed from afar pleasant moments.

In this process, first of all, we would like to thank our Mayor of Çeşme, Ms. Lal Denizli, and the President of the Turkish Sailing Federation, Ms. Özlem Akdurak, who never made us feel alone.

We owe a debt of gratitude to our esteemed referee committee and our esteemed local and foreign juries, to our national team, to the participating local and foreign sports clubs, coaches and athletes, to our parents who trusted us and sent their children and followed the races live, to our esteemed television friends and valuable members of the press who offered us their good wishes, to alacatigezgini for their magnificent photo and video shootings, to the d’Azur Hotels, Sulty’s and Çeşme West Sailing Club employees who worked non-stop before, after and during the race.

At the end of the race, we present our respect and homage to our elders, the pioneers of this sport, whose experience we highly trust, who make us proud with their words, their satisfaction and encourage us to do more.

Finally, we are proud to announce that we will start working on the 2nd d’Azur Cup as soon as possible, building on the experience of the first one.
